Food Trip: Kusina sa Plaza

Pls. like my Facebook page, Bak-paker's Adventures.

Marinduque is just a small island. If you are a fan of nasty junk food from well-known fast-food establishments, you will never survive Marinduque ;)

In Boac, where I stayed, there were no McDonalds, Jollibee, KFC, and the like. Most food establishment here are what we know as lutong-bahay or home-cooked. During my search for good food, I stumbled on Kusina sa Plaza just in front of the Boac Plaza. This establishment has a wide array of food choices. From the typical silogs (garlic rice and egg) to the much more complex dishes like kare-kare. One of my ultimate favorites is the Dinuguan or pork blood stew. This dish is simmer in pork blood and vinegar with pork meat and innards. So far, this is the best Dinuguan I have ever tasted (next to my mom's hahaha bias!). I will surely come back for more! :D
