Food Trip: Graceland and Bigg's Diner (Naga City)

Pls. like my Facebook page, Bak-paker's Adventures.

I love to eat! When I go to new places, I always search for local delicacies. When I was in the Bicol Region, I have learned that aside from the common Bicol Express, they still have one native dish to offer – the Pinangat.

The Pinangat or Pangat is a dish that originated from the Bicol Region. It is a nice blend of taro leaves, stuffed with seasoned ground pork, tied, and simmered in coconut milk. The Bicolanos are chilli eating people so expect this dish to be really spicy.

If you are looking for the authentic taste, you should go to Camalig, Albay. The place is known for the latter. Since I don’t have the luxuries of time to engage in a long trip to Albay, I tried the Pinangat at Graceland and it was good, really good!

If Baguio has its 50’s Diner, Naga has its Bigg’s Diner. The establishment offers a variety of diner food. A place to enjoy good food and spend quality time with family and friends.

Both Graceland and Bigg's Diner have outlets in SM Naga.
